What's in my bag

Kit I actually carry. Some of the links below earn me a small commission if you buy through them, and those are marked. Nothing here was given to me in exchange for a mention.

Salt Athletic — Aērcase cleat bag
My cleats live in one. It keeps them contained and protected in their own space rather than loose at the bottom of my bag with everything else — and the lining and airflow mean they're dry and ready the next time I need them.

Sideline Bags — backpack organizer
Jewelry comes off before you play. This is where mine goes — clipped inside my bag instead of loose in a pocket or a plastic baggie, which is how earrings get lost.

Firefly Recovery — portable recovery device
A small device you wear just below the knee. Mine goes on right after a game, or between games on a tournament day — at the field, not at home hours later, which is the whole point of it. It is the most portable recovery tool I own, and it fits in a bag in a way compression boots never will.

I'd rather hear the question than guess at what to write next. Ask me anything about training, recruiting, recovery or fueling — and if it's something a lot of people are wondering, it'll probably turn into the next section.
